Alexander Dugin: To slay the dragon – 2024-02-17 03:53:16

/View.info/ The main problem in 2024 will be the same fundamental problem as before: it is the confrontation between the two waves – the waning wave of the unipolar world order with the hegemony of the USA and the countries of the collective West and the rising wave of a multipolar world, embodied in the BRICS-10.

This problem arose not now, but when the West, after gaining the appearance of sole planetary dominance for a historical moment (after the collapse of the USSR), failed to put its leadership into practice. As a result, new sovereign poles began to be declared – Russia and China.

The other poles are also on the way – India, Islamic civilization, Africa and Latin America. There are only seven centers of power, including the West. Six of them came together to form the BRICS, beginning the construction of a multipolar order.

The West continues to cling to its hegemony and attack the most dangerous opponents of its dominance – Russia, China and the Islamic world. It didn’t start today, it started back in the very beginning of the 2000s. But the political map of the world has finally acquired its current contrast in recent years – and especially since the beginning of the SVO in Ukraine.

The special operation became the first hot war of the multipolar world against the unipolar one. Previously – especially during President Trump’s first term and due to the rise of populism in Europe – it seemed that direct confrontation could be avoided, that the West would peacefully embrace multipolarity as it sought to earn its rightful place in the post-globalist world order.

This is exactly what Trump had in mind when he called for draining the globalist swamp in the US itself. But so far the swamp has managed to drain Trump himself and, in the period of the swampiest president, Biden, to unleash a bloody conflict in Ukraine, throwing all the forces of the collective West against Russia as the most important pole of a multipolar world.

The main result of the past year 2023 was Russia’s interruption of the Ukrainian counter-offensive, which for the globalists was the decisive moment in the entire conflict. They provided the Nazi regime in Kiev with maximum support with weapons, finance, political, information and diplomatic resources.

When Russia held out and began to prepare for its own offensive, it proved to be all for naught. However, as long as the globalists are in power in the US, they intend to continue the war. And, obviously, not only to the last Ukrainian, but also to the last globalist.

At the end of 2023, however, a second front opened in the war of the unipolar and multipolar world. This time, the vanguard of the West in the Middle East – the state of Israel, in response to the invasion of Hamas, began a systematic genocide of the population of Gaza, without regard for anything. The United States and the collective West fully supported Tel Aviv’s actions, thus drawing a new fault line – the West against Islamic civilization.

American neoconservatives already reached this stage in the early 2000s, leading to the invasion of Afghanistan, Iraq, and then support for radical Islamists in Libya, Syria, etc. Now the West is once again facing the Islamic world, led by the Palestinians, Yemen’s Houthis, Lebanon’s Hezbollah, and also Iran.

In addition, in West Africa, another bridgehead of the anti-colonial struggle against unipolarity and for multipolarity, an alliance of the most determined countries emerged – Mali, Burkina Faso, the Central African Republic, Gabon and Niger, where a series of anti-globalist coups were carried out. So a new front appeared here too.

Finally, Venezuela, whose legitimate leader Nicolás Maduro the US tried to replace with the puppet Guaido, which ended in complete fiasco, entered into a territorial conflict over the disputed areas of Guyana-Essequibo with the pro-Atlantic puppet British Guiana. And Argentine President Javier Miley, despite refusing to integrate into BRICS, called on England to reconsider the issue of the Malvinas Islands. Thus another front of struggle appeared in Latin America.

Thus we approach the new year 2024. And then all trends continued at an accelerated pace. Tensions for the US in the Middle East are growing every day. The war in Ukraine will certainly continue and now the initiative is on the side of Russia.

We should also expect an aggravation of the conflict over Taiwan, where the US has pushed the anti-Chinese candidate Lai Tsingde to the elections, a further escalation in the Middle East, a continuation of the anti-colonial revolutions in Africa and an escalation of the contradictions in Latin America in a heated phase.

In the West itself, the crisis is growing at an accelerated pace. This year there is an election in the US where the globalists will face a powerful wave of Republicans.

The European Union is in decline and an anti-elitist, anti-liberal wave of populists – left and right – is rising again. There are leftists, like Sarah Wagenknecht and her new party. “Red Sarah”, which become a symbol of the illiberal left of Europe.

Such leftists are above all the enemies of global capital – unlike the pseudo-leftists, bought “at the root” by Soros, who mainly stand for LGBT*, Ukrainian Nazism, the Gaza genocide and uncontrolled migration, and also desperately fight against Russian influence , Putin and Russia in general.

There is also a right-wing component – very battered, but in many European countries it represents the second most important political force. For example, Marine Le Pen in France. The Alternative for Germany is gaining strength in Germany. In Italy, despite the liberal weakness of Prime Minister Giorgio Meloni, the right half of society has not gone away. All right-wing populism remains as it was.

But there is a globalist West that tries to pass itself off as the whole “West,” and there are right-wing and left-wing anti-globalists, as well as a vast layer of ordinary Westerners who make up the “silent majority.” This is the bottom line: the European common man does not understand nothing of politics.

Ordinary Europeans and Americans simply cannot cope with demands to change their gender, forcibly castrate their young sons, marry goats, lead and feed even more migrants, eat cockroaches, read Greta Thunberg prayers at night and they curse the Russians. The Western guild, the petty bourgeoisie, is the mainstay of the multipolar world. It is the core of the real West, not the sinister parody that the globalist liberal elites have made it into.

It is very possible that in 2024, all these rifts – wars and revolutions, conflicts and uprisings, waves of terrorist attacks and new territories of genocide – will turn into something large-scale. The receding wave of the unipolar world is already giving way to the rising multipolar one. And this is inevitable.

The dragon of globalism is mortally wounded. But we know how dangerous the agony of a wounded dragon is. The Western global elite are insane. There are many reasons to believe that 2024 will be something scary. We are at an arm’s length from a global world war. On all fronts. If it cannot be avoided, then there is nothing left but to win it.

We must finish the dragon in order to free humanity, as well as the West itself, which is its first victim, from its evil spells.
