The three-time Olympic champion showed a result of 4.11.55 seconds, ahead of Sergei Ardashev (+0.56 seconds) and Alexey Chervotkin (+1.84 seconds).
Faleeva finished with a result of 4.46.49 seconds, leaving behind Beijing Olympic champion Veronica Stepanova (+0.83 seconds) and Daria Nepryaeva (+2.96 seconds).
On Saturday, February 10, athletes will take to the start of the skiathlon. They will have to cover ten kilometers in the classic style and ten kilometers in skating.
The All-Russian Spartakiad of the Strongest takes place from February 9 to 18 in five regions of Russia. The main part of the Spartakiad will be held in the Chelyabinsk region, while the cross-country skiing competitions are held in Tyumen. More than 2.5 thousand athletes will take part in the Spartakiad, including 39 representatives of Belarus.
A total of 107 sets of medals will be awarded at the competition in 16 Winter Olympic sports. The Spartakiad program is completely identical to the program of the 2026 Olympic Games in Milan and Cortina d’Ampezzo.
