Trent Alexander Arnold, Liverpool’s right back, won the Player of the Year award in December 2019 for the Premier League competition.
Alexander Arnold won the award for the first time in his career after he managed to score a goal and make three others, as he came out with a clean sheet in three confrontations in Premier League.
Alexander Arnold participated in the five games that Liverpool won over Everton, Bournemouth, Watford, Leicester and finally Wolverhampton in December.
It became the second consecutive month that a Liverpool player won the Player of the Month award, after it was won by Senator Sadio Mane last November.
The 21-year-old has become the first right-back to win the Premier League Player of the Month award since Manchester City player Micah Richards in August 2007.
