Juventus Turin’s Brazilian defender Alex Sandro will be out for at least two weeks after injuring his hamstring in training on Wednesday, his club announced on Thursday.
In a press release, the Turin club announced that its player had passed exams “which revealed a moderate lesion of the hamstring of the left thigh.”
“The player has already started the rehabilitation process and will carry out further tests in 15 days to more precisely define his recovery time”added the team.
Alex Sandro, 32, has played twice this season for Juventus, but he did not feature in the 3-1 win over Lazio last weekend.
Juventus Turin are second in Serie A, two points behind Inter Milan, and travel to Sassuolo on Saturday for the 5th day.
