This Saturday, Álex Medina, an island journalist and writer, will present his new book, Burnt Bloodat Rita’s Bookshop (Calle Tarantos, 15) at 8:30 p.m. The event will be attended by the mayor of Puerto Serrano, Daniel Pérez, who will accompany the author during the presentation.
Alex Medina has had a prolific career as a journalist, working in provincial, national, economic and digital media, as well as working in communication offices. Throughout his career, Medina has alternated between journalism and literature, exploring both reality and fiction.
His first published work was Una aventura pop (Lapsus Calami, 2014), followed by La dama blanca del Mississippi (Cazador de Ratas, 2017), both classic adventure novels set in the 19th century but with a contemporary vision. In 2018, he approached the crime genre with Runaway (Cazador de Ratas), demonstrating his versatility as an author.
