DeBrincat, who has four goals and two assists in three games since leaving the COVID-19 roster, pushed the puck behind Jake Oettinger for his second goal of the game.

Patrick Kane was part of the Blackhawks’ two successes, which had not won in their last four games that required extra time or shootouts.

Jason Robertson notched his first career NHL goal, but the Stars have lost for the first time in five home games this season.

The Dallas squad kicked off the campaign by winning their first four games, but have since lost four of their last five games.

Malcolm Subban ended the clash with 30 saves for the Blackhawks. Oettinger blocked 33 shots.
