Alex Collado made his goal debut for Barcelona first team in the friendly against Nastic this week. After the game he made it clear that he has high standards.

“I will not play for the second substitute. I will either stay in the first team or I will leave,” emphasized the self-grown man. “My priority is to stay here and fight for a place.”
Alex Collado has been playing for FC Barcelona’s second team for three years. His contract was extended to 2023 in March. The home grown, who has been with the club for eleven years, is primarily used on the left or right offensive wing.
This makes the 22-year-old competitor of Ansu Fati, Lionel Messi and Ousmane Dembele. Fati and Dembele are still missing due to injury, so Collado could play a role at the start of the season, especially since Fransico Trincao was given up.
