Alessia Russo’s stunning back-heel goal at Euro 2022 brought her worldwide fame, even within the Beckham family.

She is supported by the family of former team captain David Beckham and in particular by his daughter Harper.
The two talismanic England stars sat down for a chat ahead of kick-off in Australia and New Zealand, and Russo was keen to get a look at Beckham’s youngest.
When asked by Russo if Harper was looking forward to the tournament, the Inter Miami owner replied enthusiastically.
“Oh my god, she’s so excited about the World Cup,” he said.
“Of course the conversation this morning was about me meeting you and of course getting your autograph, which I also have to do afterwards, by the way.
“But for you to inspire a new generation of footballers, boys, girls and also my daughter, I want to thank you for that.
Beckham gave Russo some advice, adding: “Enjoy it because it’s going to be the happiest moment of your life landing in Australia and New Zealand and you just know you have a whole nation behind you supporting you.”
Russo replied, “That’s so nice to hear, those are the stories that make it all worthwhile.”
