The eighth day of the Rome Film Festival is the day of Alessandro Gassmann. On a rainy evening the actor walked the red carpet bare hands, the film in which he stars with Francesco Ghegi. A story, directed by Mauro Mancini, about violence and sensitivity. The actor plays Minuto, a prisoner trainer who practices secret fights with boys who are kidnapped and then forced to fight to the death. “We live in a violent world, where violence is increasing”, explained Gassmann, «There are wars around us and he is all shouting, without listening. Then walls in the world are being built and violence around us and above all goes through the truth of young people. I think of Francesco Ghegi, but also of my son.” Alessandro Gassmann he is Leo’s father, a singer and soon an actor as well (he is going to appear in the film ensemble group therapy).
At the same time, on the red carpet, the actor walks with his wife Sabrina Knaflitz of charge. They have been married since 1998, they have been together for five more years: «Meeting us was lucky. I think it will last between me and Sabrina because we love each other intelligently. The weird thing is that we often argue, it’s good for us.”
