FOLIGNANO The community of Folignano is mourning the sudden death of a mountainous, perhaps an embolism, at just 22 years old, by Alessandro Iommi. The boy fell ill while he was with his father Armando, a doctor from Fermo, who unfortunately left him no escape. THE funerals they will be celebrated this morning at 11 am in the church of San Bartolomeo in Campofilone and then at 3 pm in the church of San Luca Evangelista in Villa Pigna di Folignano, where he lived with his mother Maria Assunta, a professor.

The farewell
“I can say goodbye to you with my lips but not with my heart and it will only be a goodbye when we manage to remember you with a smile and not with a bitter tear” is written on the funeral poster. Alessandro, the height of a cuirassier, assiduously participated in any event organized by the Folignano community. Whether it was a review, a fun party or a festival, Alessandro was always present, on the front line, to provide his generous contribution as an altruistic volunteer who never held back.
Very active on social media, he always appeared smiling and jovial even though life had not always been kind to him. Alessandro was a special person in every sense and when a special person dies, a void remains in the heart that seems impossible to fill. In these moments of pain and nostalgia, words can become a precious means for the Folignano community to express feelings of condolence and find a way to honor and remember the person who is no longer here.
The illness
The boy fell ill in the Fermo area and died at the Murri hospital where he was rushed to hospital.
