City Health Office DepokWest Java, recorded 601 cases of dengue hemorrhagic fever (DHF) throughout 2022. The most cases occurred in January.
Head of Depok City Health Office Mary Liziawati reminded the public to always be vigilant and maintain cleanliness in their respective homes.
“There were 394 cases of dengue fever in January 2022. Meanwhile, from February to the 24th, there were 207 cases,” Mary was quoted as saying detik.com from the official website of the City government DepokThursday (3/3/2022).
In order to deal with DHF, continued Mary, the City Health Service Depok strengthen vigilance and surveillance in the health sector, especially in the prevention and control of DHF.
“We are strengthening it through the Head of the Public Health Section at the sub-district and village levels,” he continued.
The health center is also reminded to actively conduct outreach to the community. One of them is the Periodic Lartic Monitoring (PJB) and the One House One Jumantik Movement (G1R1Ji).
“Also instructing puskesmas and hospitals to handle dengue patients according to their authority and responsibility,” he said standard operating procedure (SOP),” he added.
Not only that, the appeal is also emphasized to the community to immediately report to the RT/RW if there are DHF sufferers. These findings will be forwarded to the local health center.
“Don’t forget to report if any family members are affected by dengue, and still encourage the eradication of mosquito nests in their homes,” he concluded.
