Alert! Sentul City Subsidiary Shares Enter IDX Radar

Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – Shares of property developer PT Natura City Development Tbk (CITY) are finally included on the radar of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) as shares whose movements are out of the ordinary, aka Unusual Market Activity / UMA.

CITY is a subsidiary PT Sentul City Tbk (BKSL) with ownership of 51.44%. Natura City manages the Serpong Natura City project.

In its announcement, the IDX emphasized that the UMA announcement did not necessarily indicate a violation of the laws and regulations in the capital market. However, the stock exchange is currently watching the development of this stock movement.

The IDX continues to ask investors to pay attention to the issuer’s answer to the exchange’s confirmation request and to observe the performance and disclosure of information submitted by the company.

The Exchange also asks investors to review the corporate action plan if they have not received it from the shareholders through the General Meeting of Shareholders (GMS) and consider various possibilities that may arise at a later date before making an investment decision.

The last disclosure of information submitted by the company was regarding the implementation of public exposure on December 16, 2020.

The increase in the company’s shares was quite significant, especially in the last 6 months. It was recorded that the increase in that period reached 373.08%.

Its share price also reached its highest price until the end of trading this morning, Monday (11/1/2021) at IDR 248 / share with an increase intraday 33,70%.

This stock is also only in demand by domestic investors. This is proven by the absence of transactions from foreign brokers on these shares during the last six months.

The company, whose shares began to be listed on the IDX on September 20 2018, released its shares at IDR 120 / share and received IDR 312 billion in funds by releasing 2.6 billion shares.

The company’s revenue also fell to IDR 37.36 billion at the end of the third quarter of 2020 from IDR 55.61 billion at the end of September 2019.

In its public expose last month, the company’s management stated that the decline in performance was due to the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic. This not only affects the company, but also the property sector as a whole.

The company hopes that with a vaccine and a decrease in the positive number of Covid-19 in the country it will have an impact on the economy so that it will have an effect on the property sector.

As of the latest disclosure of information, the company has recorded sales of 1,825 houses and shophouses with total sales of 1,321 units. A total of 1,145 units have been handed over to consumers.
