MAGELANG(SUARABARU.ID)-Health Extension Officer from the North Magelang Health Center, Dr. Reza, explained that dengue fever is a disease caused by the Dengue virus and is transmitted through the bite of the Aedes Aegypti mosquito. “Currently, in various areas, there are many people who are infected with dengue fever, including in the Kramat Utara sub-district. For that we all have to be vigilant and fortify ourselves from the disease,” he said.
Furthermore, Dr. Reza conveyed, there are several ways to prevent diseases caused by these mosquito disturbances. These include environmental regulation, air regulation, spraying pesticides around the house and sprinkling abate powder medicine.
He said this during a health education event on the dangers of an outbreak of Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF).DBD) and how to prevent it. Activities at the Mosque Al Badr and the Mosque Al Afiyah, North Kramat Village, North Magelang District, Magelang City, Tuesday (12/28/2021).
North Kramat Babinsa, Serda Syaban, added that the spread of dengue fever could be overcome if the community wanted to keep the environment clean inside and outside the house.
“With this health education from the puskesmas, it is hoped that it can increase public awareness of the importance of healthy living by maintaining body condition and environmental cleanliness,” said Babinsa.
