Alert for missing Hispanic teenager in New York

The New York police are asking for the public’s help to find a 12-year-old Latina resident of the Brownsville (Brooklyn) neighborhood who has not been seen since last week.

Natalia Acuna Botero was last seen inside her home near Legion Street and Pitkin Avenue around 9:15 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 5, according to authorities. Details about the circumstances of her leaving her home that night have not been released.

She is described as approximately 5 feet 6 inches tall and 120 pounds with a slim build, black hair, and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a blue t-shirt and black jeans.
