Alert for DHF, Gunungkidul Health Office does not recommend fogging

Department of Health (Dinkes) Gunungkidul has taken various precautionary measures.

Head of Health Office Gunungkidul Dewi Irawaty conveyed that until now the dengue cases in her area were still relatively sloping.

“Indeed, there has been no significant increase, but we still have to be ready,” Dewi told reporters, Friday (11/12/2021).

“(The larvae) continue to grow into mosquitoes, and have the potential to carry dengue fever,” he explained.

Even if fogging If needed, Dewi said it was necessary to start with Epidemiological Research (PE) by the puskesmas and local officials.
