WEST BANGKA, iNews.id – Since the beginning of 2022, Sejiran Setason Muntok Hospital recorded as many as 44 residents were attacked by Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF).DBD) in West Bangka. Two of the patients died.
“Throughout January 2022 until today there are 44 cases of DHF from all referrals. With two cases of death from Air Samak Village and Air Limau Muntok Village, West Bangka Regency,” said Acting Director of Sejiran Setason Muntok Hospital, Dr Rudi Faizul, Monday (17 /1/2022).
Rudi said that most cases of DHF occurred in Muntok District and were dominated by pediatric patients.
“Because there are many water reservoirs in Muntok in the city area. The average number of DHF patients is children. Currently, 10 DHF patients are being treated at the RSUD,” he said.
