Aleksei Jevgrafov was elected head of the Narva branch of the Center Party

The Narva region of the Center Party held its next annual meeting on October 10, 2024. The Mayor of Narva, Jaan Toots welcomed the members present and guests of the Center Party. Mihhail Kõlvart, chairman of the Center Party, and Lauri Laats, chairman of the Riigikogu Center Party group, made speeches.

It has been admitted that there have been difficult political times in the Central Party, but now the officials, who changed their political views one day, have left the party, and those who ‘stay moving forward as a united force. New people are joining the party, and national opinion polls show an increase in the popularity of the Center Party.

Aleksei Jevgrafov, member of the Riigikogu and chairman of the Narva branch of the Narva council, was elected chairman of the Narva section of the Center Party, who appointed Tarmo Tammiste and Tatjana Stolfat, who were elected to the board, as vice-chairmen. Andrus Tamm, Heli Adamovič, Irina Janovič, Kirill Gussev and Siluan Babarykin were also elected to the board.

Aleksei Jevgrafov said that the members of the Central Party in Narva have a lot of work ahead of them, preparing for the local government elections, but it can be seen that the Central Party has also gained new life in Narva. People have come to understand that the current state power is working against the people and their well-being, and the only alternative is to get a good result in the local government elections to lay a solid foundation for the -next Riigikogu elections, to defeat the Reform Party and the satellites that support the implementation of their policies from the economic policies that are destroying the Estonian state.

Tarmo Tammiste, Andrus Tamm, Heli Adamovič and Irina Janovotš were elected as members of the Central Party council from Narva. Sofja Homjakova, Svetlana Astahhova and Jelena Kavrus were elected as members of the review committee.
