The Spanish singer Alejandro Sanz was involved in a small controversy after users on social networks accused him of having radical “left” political leanings.
Through social networks, the interpreter of Is not the same shared a message in which he responded to criticism for a previous comment about the violent situation that Ecuador is currently experiencing.
In his tweet, Sanz sent his moral support to the Central American country, which is currently in a conflict between the government and organized crime that has affected civilians.
I feel great pain for what happened in Ecuador 🇪🇨 from afar I send you my love and my encouragement for the Ecuadorian people. Violence is not a symptom, it is the disease. All the strength and all the love for good people. 🇪🇨

“I have been called a fascist and a communist for saying that violence is not the symptom, but the disease. That’s the level! Go far away with your trashy ideologies. I am a person and I try to understand everyone. Did I fuck you? “I don’t give a f*ck…” she wrote, surprising many.
As a kind of epilogue, the singer wrote an additional note, which did not convince many and made users question whether it was something added to avoid controversy, sarcasm, or a kind of joke.
“Don’t be scared, it’s part of a song,” he added along with a winking emoji.
The publication caused thousands of reactions from users who are not sure whether to believe that it is some musical composition, and others who remembered that the singer is going through difficult times and think that he only entered X to vent.
“But you don’t even have to answer people who insult you”; “Radicalism is a terrible evil of humanity”; “I don’t think it’s part of a song”; “Hahaha, what a strange ‘letter’”; “Ideology doesn’t matter, you just have to be clear about the difference between terrorism and violence. But there is an ideology that sympathizes with terrorism in the name of homeland or death,” were some of the comments.
The truth is that, throughout his career, Alejandro Sanz has used his music and his voice to transmit messages of solidarity and social awareness, as it did a few months ago with the earthquake in Morocco or with the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
