Mexico City. Alejandro Olivo Villa will serve as deputy general director of the North American Development Bank (NADBank), reported the Ministry of Finance and Public Credit, which proposed him.
In a statement, it was reported that during the meeting of the NADBank Board of Directors, held on November 13 and 14, the advisors of the United States and the government of Mexico approved the appointment of Olivo Villa.
NADBank is a bilateral financial institution established by the governments of Mexico and the United States; Through its operations, both nations benefit from the financing it offers to support the development and implementation of environmental infrastructure projects.
The financial entity also provides technical assistance in actions that promote the preservation, protection and improvement of the environment of the border region and thus increase the well-being of the population in both countries.
Olivo Villa will have the responsibility of directing the bank’s operations and providing support to the CEO to lead binational cooperation between the United States and Mexico, channeling investments in environmental infrastructure to achieve sustainable development in border communities.
The manager has an outstanding career focused on global capital markets and fixed income credit analysis. He has held different positions at the Moody’s rating agency and in the Mexican public sector.
He has a master’s degree in finance and international relations from John Hopkins University in the United States, and a bachelor’s degree in Economics from the Autonomous Technological Institute of Mexico.
