Alejandra Rubio Discusses Her Grandmother’s Advice and Future Plans in Television

Barely a month after the death of María Teresa Campos, Alejandra Rubio has participated in a solidarity event to raise funds to fight cancer, a disease that hit her family, and where she revealed what advice her grandmother gave her to do well his work on television.

“Let him inform me, let him speak well and not say tails. And above all, be close and kind. At first I always rewatched my television appearances, but for mental health reasons I no longer do so. But I now realize the mistakes I make, which I didn’t do before,” the communicator’s granddaughter tells The reason.

And she feels convinced of her return to work so quickly despite the death of her grandmother. “For my family, and also influenced by my father, work is very important. Life hits you, but you have to move on with your life. In the end the procession goes inside, it is what has to be done. You are busy, and that is very important in these situations, to have your mind busy so as not to think. Continue with my projects because my grandmother is gone, she is no longer here, and we can’t do anything to remedy it. “You have to grieve.”

A decision for which she has been highly criticized, something she confesses to being accustomed to. “Judging people is very established in our society. Everyone would do it better or differently. Everyone does things as best they can. In this case I have returned to work, period. If I hadn’t gone back to work they would say that I’m crying on the corner and feeling sorry for myself. Everything he does will be judged.”

And she states that she carefully follows everything that is said about her on the networks. “Whoever says they don’t read it is lying. In the end it’s impossible, she comes out everywhere. You have to read it no matter what. But in the end I have always said that you can never pay attention to good comments because you are in the clouds and off the planet, and you have to keep your feet on the ground, nor to the negative. Because in the end, criticism that is not constructive is of no use to me. “If I wasn’t on television I would still be exposed by the family I have.”

Your professional future

About her role as a communicator, she says: “When I do interviews in the newspaper, sometimes I find it very difficult to ask certain things because I experience it firsthand and I know what it is like. Asking complicated questions is not easy for anyone, but in the end it is work and I respect that. You decide how to ask the questions, whether you are going to do harm or not. And that is very important. “Doing interviews I have had many surprises for the better, and very few for the worse.”

However, he wants to direct his professional career towards other paths. “I have projects coming out that make me very happy. I only have one year left in my acting career and that is my path,” she says. “This country has incredible actors and directors. I am amazed when people speak badly about Spanish cinema. I love Úrsula Corberó because I feel very identified with her personally. As boys, Luis Tosar and Quim Gutiérrez are at the top for me,” she adds.
