The former candidate for governor of the State of Mexico, Alejandra Del Moral Vela was appointed as executive director of the Mexican Agency for International Development Cooperation, as was announced through a press release.

Through her social networks, Del Moral reiterated that “it is time for women,” thanking the now president Claudia Sheinbaum for the trust.

Alejandra Del Moral Vela has two degrees, one in Law from the Universidad Iberoamericana, and the second in Private International Law from the Complutense University of Madrid; In addition, he has a master’s degree in Public Administration and Public Policy from Tecnológico de Monterrey.
Among the positions she has held are: in 2009 she was municipal president of Cuautitlán Izcalli, being the youngest mayor of this municipality.

During the presidency of Enrique Peña Nieto, Alejandra Del Moral served as director of the National Savings Bank and Financial Services.
In 2016, she was appointed by then-governor Eruviel Ávila Villegas as the head of the Mexican Ministry of Labor.
A year later, in February 2017, she was appointed president of the State Steering Committee of the PRI, who was in charge of organizing the gubernatorial elections that same year with the victory of Alfredo Del Mazo Maza.
In September 2021, she protested as a deputy in the local congress, but in February 2022 she returned to the Mexican administration as head of the Ministry of Social Development.
