Aprilia racer Aleix Espargaro expressed his heart that he loved Indonesia MotoGP Mandalika Pertamina Grand Prix 2023.
Via his personal Instagram social media, Aleix shared 10 photos of himself with his wife, children, friends and teammate (Maverick Vinales) while in Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara.
“Thank you, I love you Indonesia! See you next week [MotoGP Australia pada 20-23 Oktober],” wrote Aleix in the caption column for the photos shared on Monday (16/10).
While in Lombok, Indonesia, Aleix shared a lot of his activities outside of racing. He seemed comfortable getting a warm welcome from the Indonesian people, especially the people of Lombok.
This racer from Spain actually performed impressively at the Mandalika Pertamina Grand Prix MotoGP 2023. Aleix was the best runner up in the free practice session on Friday (13/10). Then he became the best during the practice session on Saturday (14/10).
This man from Spain then finished third in the qualifying session. Unfortunately, Aleix’s performance in the Sprint Race session was less fortunate. He couldn’t finish the race.
The results of the 2023 Mandalika Pertamina Grand Prix MotoGP race were less favorable. Starting the race from third position, this 34 year old man had to settle for being in 10th position at the end of the race.
In fact, this is a worse position than last season. During the inaugural MotoGP series at the Mandalika Pertamina Grand Prix in 2022, Aleix was ranked ninth. However, free practice and qualifying sessions are better this year.
After the 15th MotoGP 2023 series race, Aleix is in fifth place. Aleix collected 117 points or was far behind Francesco Bagnaia who collected 346 points.
