Aleix Espargaro take poles MotoGP Spain 2023. Score the time in the session qualification at Jerez ahead of Jack Miller and Jorge Martin.
At the Jerez circuit on Saturday (29/4) afternoon WIT, a number of top riders had to start qualifying from the first session, aka Q1 qualification MotoGP Spain 2023. Antara lain ada Francesco Bagnaia, Marco Bezzecchi, Franco Morbidelli, dan Fabio Quartararo.
Bagnaia, Bezzecchi, Morbidelli and Quartararo were forced to fight over the top two Q1 positions, in order to advance to Q2 to compete for the starting positions at the front including pole positionbecause the time combination in practice on Friday (28/4) did not make it into the top 10.
In the Q1 session of the Spanish MotoGP 2023, Bagnaia and Bezzecchi shifted several times to record the fastest time in the session. Precisely it was Quartararo who seemed unable to show a slick pace.
In the process, Quartararo was also unable to get through to Q2 after only taking sixth place in Q1. Bagnaia and Brad Binder, respectively, occupy the top two Q1 spots and rightfully continue to appear in Q2 fighting for the front spots MotoGP Spain 2023.
At the end of the Q1 session, it rained on the Jerez track. When Q2 was going on, the rain stopped even though it started to rain again.
What’s interesting, Bagnaia was seen touching track conditions before acting in Q2. It seems that he wanted to check how much impact the rain had on the surface of the Jerez circuit track.
In pole contention in Q2 qualification MotoGP Spain 2023, a number of riders alternated in recording the fastest time. Among others, there are Jack Miller, Alex Marquez, Luca Marini, Aleix Espargaro, and Johann Zarco.
In the end, there was Aleix Espargaro who became the leading rider in Q2 of the Spanish MotoGP 2023. He won pole by beating Jack Miller and Jorge Martin’s time.
