“Alec Baldwin’s Involuntary Manslaughter Charge Dropped Due to Lapsed Complaint”

Earlier this year it was announced that Baldwin would be charged with involuntary manslaughter. Today, his lawyers announce that the complaint will lapse. Earlier, prosecutors had dropped part of the charges against him and the second prosecutor had resigned.

“We are pleased that the case against Alec Baldwin has been dropped, but we support a thorough investigation into the facts and circumstances of the tragic accident, Baldwin’s lawyers said in a brief statement.
