Alec Baldwin
Filming of his film “Rust” finished
19 months after the tragic death of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins, Alec Baldwin’s Rust has wrapped.
It is probably the most tragic film of his entire career. Actor Alec Baldwin, 65, announced on Instagram that the shooting of his film “Rust” is over.
He posted a photo of himself with the film’s young co-star Patrick Scott McDermott, 14. Also a picture where he can be seen with his face freshly shaved. “My god, it feels so good to finally shave off that beard,” he comments.
19 months ago, on October 21, 2021, the death drama that caused horror worldwide occurred on the set of “Rust”: Baldwin accidentally shot the camerawoman Halyna Hutchins – with a pistol, which he said was assured had that it was not loaded with real ammunition.
charge of involuntary manslaughter
Filming was then halted and Baldwin was charged with manslaughter. Although the charges were later dropped, further lawsuits followed from both Halyna Hutchins’ family and other crew members on the set. An agreement was later reached with Hutchins’ widower Matthew, which provided, among other things, that he take over the executive production of the film.
It is still unclear when the film will hit the cinemas.
