NEW YORK — Actor Alec Baldwin arrived unexpectedly at a pro-Palestinian rally Monday in Manhattan, where he clashed with a protester before being escorted away by several New York City Police officers.
It is unclear what exactly led to the confrontation or how and why Baldwin arrived in the area.
The incident with Baldwin occurred minutes after several small confrontations between protesters and police.
Previously, protesters had demonstrated at Grand Central Terminal, the Port Authority bus terminal and Penn Station.
