Veteran pivot LaMarcus Aldridge returns to the best basketball in the world after receiving a medical discharge and reaching an agreement with the Brooklyn Nets.
According to ESPN reporter Adrian Wojnarowski, Aldridge agreed for a year and 2.6 million dollars with the New York team.
At least five months have passed since the seven-time All-Star center announced his retirement from the NBA, when he first joined the Nets.

Now the former San Antonio Spurs and Portland Trail Blazers player will be able to play his 16th season.
Notably, Brooklyn on Tuesday sent DeAndre Jordan along with second-round picks to the Detroit Pistons in exchange for Jahill Okafor and Sekou Doumbouya.
This trade opens a space for Aldridge as a possible starting center for the team.
The 36-year-old veteran has averaged 19.4 points, 8.2 rebounds and 2.0 assists in his career in 1.029 games.
