Aldi Süd Testing Parking Service in Düsseldorf: Affordable Rates and Convenience

According to German media, Aldi Süd is already testing such a service in Düsseldorf. For this purpose, the big chain has established cooperation with the Ampido application.

Between 7pm and 7am, seats outside the Aldi market can be booked for €11 a day, €50 a week or €80 a month. Previously, it was also theoretically possible to park at Aldi at night, but the rates were prohibitive.

The solution is supported by local housing administrations, as it is becoming more and more difficult to find free parking spaces.

In Poland, in recent years, large discount chains have started to introduce fees for using their car parks. Usually only the time that allows you to shop freely is free. In Germany, similar restrictions were introduced a long time ago.
