ALDI SÜD Launches #1Like1Leek Campaign to Raise Awareness for Underrated Vegetable

ALDI SÜD has set itself the goal of triggering a hype: about leeks. The underrated vegetable is the co-star of a new social media campaign under the claim “#1Like1Leek”. In a humorous way, the German singer Nina Chuba advertises with a wink for as many likes as possible. What’s special: ALDI SÜD donates 250,000 euros to the RTL foundation “Wir helfen Kinder eV” with more than 123,456 likes at the end of the campaign.

Today the first of the two social clips went live on the ALDI SÜD channels on YouTube, TikTok and Instagram. “For us, the ALDI claim ‘Good things for everyone’ means making conscious nutrition affordable for everyone,” explains Christian Göbel, Group Director Customer Interaction at ALDI SÜD. “With our donation to the RTL Foundation ‘We help children eV’ for projects on conscious nutrition, we are underlining this once again and creating maximum attention through the collab with Nina Chuba.”

The Berlin creative agency DOJO is responsible for the implementation of the campaign. Various influencers, including @helgemark (1.2 million followers), @asmrmissmi (3.9 million followers) and @samirhoma (736K followers), support the campaign on their social media channels.
