ALDI Nord is expanding its services, so from today, October 14, 2024, it will be possible to withdraw cash directly from the checkouts in all 2,200 ALDI branches in western, northern and eastern Germany. According to the company, with the introduction of cash withdrawal at the checkout, ALDI Nord is meeting the growing need for easy access to cash while shopping. This service is an important relief, especially in underserved areas. Withdrawals are possible from a purchase value of just 1 euro. All Maestro and V-Pay giro cards, debit cards, as well as Master and VISA credit cards are accepted. Contactless payouts, for example with a smartphone, are also possible.
