Last weekend, Romelu Lukaku said in an interview with Sky Italia that he would welcome the transfer of Thierry Henry from assistant to head coach.
In Peace on Earth, another Red Devils heavyweight, Toby Alderweireld, supports the Frenchman’s candidacy. “Henry has won everything you can win in his career.”
“Also, he knows the team, which is important. I understand that you need to rejuvenate, but you also need to know where we come from. Henry would be the ultimate solution in that regard.”
Asked if the union has already asked him to express his opinion, Alderweireld replies with a quip: “I think they have lost my number”.
