This has been advanced by the mayor, Natalia de Andrés (PSOE), who recalled that this situation is a consequence of the decision of the National Court, which was investigating the plot related to contracts with the Waiter Music company, to inhibit itself in the case of Alcorcón in favor of the corresponding local court.

In a car dated September 10, the magistrate of the National Court Manuel García-Castellón, who investigates the Punic plot, decided to inhibit himself on this matter it already exceeded “the time frame that is being analyzed”, so the case was transferred to the Senior Court of Alcorcón, for random distribution.

Explanations

The mayoress already assured in November that the injunction order of the National Court stated “quite a few examples that clearly reveal the alleged irregular procedure for hiring artists for the Patron Saint Festivities by the City Council then governed directed by David Pérez ”.

As the socialist councilor stated then, the hiring investigated “made no sense from an administrative point of view”, since they were made “prior to the awarding” and even prior “to the approval of the specifications for the award of the Patron Saint Festivities of Alcorcón”.

Thus, De Andrés has once again asked for explanations from several of the current councilors of the popular municipal group, who were part of that Government, like Ana Gómez, current spokesperson, or Luis Galindo, who was mayor of Culture when the investigated contracts were awarded.

He has also asked former mayor David Pérez, current Madrid Minister of Housing and Territorial Administration, for explanations. who was the “most responsible” as ruler of those awards.
