ALCORCÓN / APRIL 19, 2021 / The Alcorcón City Council has scheduled an intense program to celebrate International Book Day 2021, which takes place on April 23, adapted to current health needs.

During the day on Friday they will develop various activities related to literature such as the reading of ‘Platero y yo’, the work of Juan Ramón Jiménez. In this reading, which will take place at 4.30 pm, cultural and social entities and associations from Alcorcón will participate.

Later, at 7:00 p.m., there will be a children’s storytelling show aimed at family audiences entitled ‘Cooking Tales’ in charge of the Primigenius Company. Parallel to these activities, various activities will be held during the afternoon to bring libraries to the streets with initiatives such as the exchange of books for both boys and girls in the city, under the title ‘Books on the street.
