Alcoholics stopped in Tamsweg with around 2.4 per thousand

On Thursday, two alcohol drivers were taken out of circulation: a 30-year-old in Lungau and a 31-year-old from Tennengau.

In Tamsweg, a car driver was driving with 2.4 per thousand alcohol in the blood.

A 30-year-old car driver was pulled out of traffic in Tamsweg late Thursday evening. In the course of the check, the Croatian showed clear symptoms of impairment. A breathalyser test finally showed a value of 2.38 per mille. His driver’s license was temporarily taken away and he was forbidden to continue driving.

At the same time, a car driver in Hallein who was not wearing a seat belt was noticed by a police patrol. In the course of the subsequent check, symptoms of an impairment were also found in this driver. An alcohol test carried out resulted in a value of 1.5 per thousand. The driver’s license was taken away from the 31-year-old from Tennengau and he was forbidden to continue driving. Both drivers will be reported to the responsible authorities.
