Police still working on liquor promotion case for ‘Muhammad-Maria’ Holywings. The police also put up a police line at the Holywings head office, in BSD, South Tangerang.
“We did yesterday police line at the HW (Holywings) head office in BSD,” said South Jakarta Police Criminal Investigation Unit Head AKBP Ridwan Soplanit to detik.comSunday (26/6/2022).
A total of 6 people became suspects in this case. The investigation is still ongoing and the police are gathering evidence.
“There are six people who are suspects, all of whom are people who work for HW (Holywings),” said South Jakarta Police Chief Kombes Budhi Herdi Susianto.
The six suspects are:
1. The man with the initials EJD (27) as creative director Holywings
2. The woman with the initials NDP (36), as the head of the promotion team
3. The man with the initials DAD (27), virtual designer
4. Woman with the initials EA (22), social media admin team
5. Woman with initials AAB (25), as social officer
6. A woman with the initials AAM (25) as admin of the promo team
Holywing insists on not letting go
Holywings Indonesia said it would not let go of the case. Holywings will monitor the case.
“Currently 6 persons responsible for the ‘promotion’ have been detained, undergoing the legal process and have been handled by the police and the authorities. We will ensure that we will continue to monitor the development of this case, take firm action and will never let go,” reads the statement. Holywings on Instagram, Sunday (26/6)..
This case began when the promotion of free alcoholic drinks for ‘Muhammad’ and ‘Maria’ was reported to the police. The report was submitted by the Indonesian Young Advocates Association (HIMA) and the Jakarta Pancasila Student and Youth Student Unit (Sapma PP), as well as the DKI Jakarta KNPI.
Both reports have been received by Polda Metro Jaya. The police are also investigating the report.
