According to the police commissioner Giancarlo Conticchio: “Only by instilling in young people the culture of respect, balance and moderation in all aspects of their existence can we hope to raise a healthy generation with which we can imagine fighting against phenomena of violence that nowadays are decisively increasing the sense of insecurity of citizens: just think of the violence against health workers, irresponsible behavior when driving vehicles or fights in public places, often generated precisely by the excessive use of alcohol; for this reason, active collaboration from everyone remains essential in reporting these episodes of administration of alcoholic beverages to minors also using the application YOUPOLa very effective tool for reporting, even anonymously, situations that create greater social alarm. Once again – concludes the police commissioner – the appeal is addressed to parents to follow their children more closely, reporting to this office situations that see them in difficulty, with the awareness that the institutions are there and are ready to help them in a very difficult task“.
