A Plovdiv resident spent the night in police custody for gross violation of public order. Around 9:20 p.m. last night, a patrol of the First RU responded to a report of hooliganism in front of a 24-hour shop in the “Hristo Botev” housing complex in “Yuzhen”.
A visibly intoxicated man quarreled with an underage boy, hit him and demonstratively displayed a gas pistol. The perpetrator, aged 60, is an acquaintance of the police.
He was detained at the district office, and the drug test showed about 2 per thousand. His weapon has been confiscated and the method of acquisition is yet to be clarified. An expedited proceeding was established under Art. 325, para. 1 of the NC.
