Alcaraz defeated Novak Djokovic 1-6, 7-6 (8:6), 6-1, 3-6, 6-4 in an almost five-hour battle.

Speaking to the media after the match, the long-time leader of the ATP ranking, Djokovic, gave great praise to the current number one racket in men’s tennis.

“I didn’t expect him to play so well on grass, but he has proven that he is the best tennis player in the world. To be honest, I have not played against such a tennis player,” said the Serbian tennis player.
