The French Blood Establishment in Albi has launched an appeal to the city’s students. As they cannot travel to their establishments, the EFS invites them to come and donate blood in their premises located at 8, avenue Maréchal de Lattre de Tassigny. Two days have already been scheduled for March 23 and 25. “It went very well,” notes Manon Valentin, EFS referent. About fifty students from various schools in the city came, in addition to the usual samples. They were treated to an “improved” snack with pancakes as a sweet snack. But the collection is not over: a third day is scheduled for Tuesday, March 30. Students from Champollion University, Fonlabour, Sainte-Cécile and Rascol high schools, IMT Mines and all young people aged 18 and over are invited to donate blood. They will also be able to discuss with the volunteers of the France Adot 81 association which campaigns for organ and bone marrow donation.
