The Albigensian Rotary Clubs are committed, together with the French Blood Institute (EFS) and the Association of Voluntary Blood Donors, to organize a major blood collection in an exceptional setting. The opportunity to make the Albigensians even more aware of the importance of donating blood to heal others.
Every year at the beginning of the school year, the relationship is clear, the stocks of blood products are dwindling. The summer period is accompanied every year by strong pressure on the stocks of blood products. Once again thanks to the members of the Rotary Clubs of Albi (Albi Lapérouse and Albi Pastel) and the association of voluntary blood donors, the French Blood Center meets the inhabitants. More than 150 donors will be expected at the Place de la Cathédrale.

To donate blood it is sufficient to be between the ages of 18 and 70 and weigh at least 50 kg. It is advisable not to come on an empty stomach, to keep well hydrated and to bring a photo ID.
