The former president recalled that he underwent six surgeries in the same place. “This is how I have carried out my fight against cancer for more than 27 years,” he highlighted.
Fujimori was admitted to a Lima hospital at the end of April for a biopsy for a tumor that was found on his tongue. Fujimori’s daughter and former presidential candidate Keiko Fujimori reported shortly after that the procedure was successfully performed.
