President Alberto Fernández led today, in the party of Almirante Brown, the presentation of the first 1000 public works that are already in execution in the country and that imply an investment of 556,780 million pesos, as reported by the Government. There, he took the opportunity to refer to the acts of violence he suffered this weekend, when protesters they stoned his truck, when visiting the areas affected by the fires in Chubut.
“The violent throw stones, we throw works. The violent throw stones, we carry vaccines. The violent throw stones, we bring love and affection to the people ”, expressed the president, who indicated that the “priority” is “to return the house to those who they saw it catch fire in those forests ”.
“This is the only thing that should matter to us and nothing should divert us from this path,” said Fernández, who without referring to the specific events of vandalism against your vehicle, that were repudiated by most of the political arc, said that “The rest does not matter at all, it is an anecdote.”

This morning, there was six people arrested for the attack on the presidential cell phone and a lesser delay, as confirmed by the Chubut Security Minister, Federico Massoni.
In an attempt to return to the message of unity, the President said: “What I most wish is that the differences between us do not divide us, that the different ideas and positions and views do not confront us, we need to pull on the same side. When some scream, they are wrong, they make me stronger, The more they convince me that this is the way I should follow, because we have the opportunity to stand up and spend this ungrateful time that is the pandemic, which has left us so much pain ”.
Already involved in the priority of vaccinating Argentines, he admitted to having spoken with the leaders of all the laboratories that produce doses. “We have achieved, they are gradually arriving in a world where 10% of the countries concentrate 90% of the vaccines. We are in the 10% of the world that gets vaccines ”, he claimed.
After the repeated criticism he received, mainly from the representatives of Together for Change, regarding the pace with which the inoculations are progressing in the country, Fernández said: “I have never heard among the opponents someone tell me ‘I have a door to open to get a vaccine for Argentines.’ I would have loved for them to do it and not for them to accuse me of poisoning them. “
Another opportunity in which the President blamed Juntos por el Cambio, but referring to Mauricio Macri’s management in front of the national Executive, was when he referred to the central axis of the act, which were the Infrastructure works: opened 30, in 11 provinces, with an investment of 9772 million pesos and also launched the Higher Institute of Teacher Training No. 41, which is located in Adrogué, Almirante Brown, in the south of the Buenos Aires suburbs.
Beyond his satisfaction for it, Fernández -who asked for a criminal complaint to investigate how the credit was created between the previous Government and the International Monetary Fund (IMF) – he maintained: “This year we had to pay the creditors the equivalent of what we are investing in these 1000 works.”
In that sense, he indicated: “Some choose the easy way of going into debt and forgetting their people. We choose the path of arguing and fighting with creditors and to give security to each and every one of the Argentines ”.
Regarding the negotiation to restructure the debt with the IMF, he assured: “Everyone is anxious for us to fix, I’m also eager to fix but I’m not going to fix it at the expense of the Argentines ”.
In addition to communicating virtually with the municipality of Hurlingham; with the provinces of Misiones, Córdoba, Catamarca and Neuquén; and with mayors from 25 cities from different locations in the country; Fernández was accompanied by the Buenos Aires governor, Axel Kicillof; the local mayor, Mariano Cascallares; the Minister of Public Works, Gabriel Katopodis; of Education, Nicolás Trotta, and the general director of Culture and Education of the Province, Agustina Vila.
