Albert Verlinde is leaving Stage Entertainment, the theater production company he has led since January 2015, after almost six years. The presenter and theater maker wants to take a new path, he says in a press release.

Verlinde has been working as a producer for more than twenty years this year (previously at V&V Entertainment) and thinks this is “a logical moment to stop at Stage Entertainment”.

“As managing director of the Netherlands I have had great and beautiful years that I look back on with great pleasure.” Verlinde produced performances such as TINA – Tina Turner Musical, Lazarus in The Bodyguard.

“Now that the programming is ready for the coming period, I can leave with peace of mind. I will continue to dedicate myself to the theater, among other things as chairman of the National Theater Fund and the National Theater Weekend.”

Verlinde became general director and the face of Stage Entertainment Nederland, the new name of the theater production company.
