Albert Lehmann can look back on one hundred years of life on January 23, 2021. His parents Georg and Franziska Lehmann lived at the entrance to the Ernsbach valley in Nordrach. Albert Lehmann grew up there with five siblings.
In 1939 the eighteen-year-old was drafted into the military and among other things worked as a radio operator in Africa. Shortly before the end of the war, he was taken prisoner by the Americans. After his return home he worked as a sales representative and later at the customs office in Kehl.
During his stay in the USA he learned to appreciate North America and in 1956 he emigrated to Hamilton, Province of Ontario in Canada. There he worked at Del Monte until his retirement.
Albert Lehmann has numerous preferences. He likes to work in the garden, has an interest in history and folk music, his great passion is playing the accordion to this day.
Despite his proud 100 years, Albert Lehmann can still live independently. He keeps himself fit with regular walks and is in excellent health. His big relatives in the old and new homeland congratulate them on this jubilee with best wishes.
