Albert Heijn calls back more farmer’s cheese

Albert Heijn retrieves all pieces and slices of AH mature farm cheese 30+ from the store, because the cheese may cause food poisoning. The supermarket chain already did this earlier this week slices of farmhouse cheese with a certain expiration date, but now the recall has been extended.

A spokesperson for Albert Heijn said earlier that this raw milk cheese is a precautionary measure after a number of people became ill from it.

People who have already bought the farmer’s cheese are requested not to eat it but to bring it back to the store. There they get the purchase amount back.
