Albert-Camus School Wins Mini Open Moselle Schools Tennis Tournament at Moselle Open ATP

“Bring the cup home!” »: this is what the children of the CM2 class at the Albert-Camus school sang on the bus bringing them back from Metz.

Engaged in the Mini open Moselle schools (Mome) by their teacher, Sandrine Rouyer, the children won the tennis tournament pitting them against other classes from all over Moselle, on November 9.

The competition took place during the Moselle Open ATP tournament.

The young people played the final against Thionville on court n°1 of the Arènes de Metz, in front of more than 150 spectators.

They were able to count on select supporters in the presence of Ghislaine Melon, mayor of Ennery, and Colette Negri, second deputy.

The Tennis Club was represented by François-Xavier Vasseur, president of the club, Gilles Ollier, Françoise Ollier and Claire Koulmann, their coaches.

At the end of the awards ceremony, the young athletes in turn attended a quarter-final of the professional tournament.
