Alban Lakata narrowly missed his lifelong dream of winning the Ötztaler Cycle Marathon and was still “very satisfied”. After third place last year, the 44-year-old from East Tyrol was only beaten by Italian Manuel Senni this time. Janine Meyer set a fabulous record for women.
