Customs Affairs statistics revealed that Aluminum Bahrain Company “Alba” topped the list of the highest companies according to the value of exports last August, followed by “Bapco” and then Bahrain Steel Company.
As for imports, Bahrain Steel Company came, then Bahrain Aluminum “Alba” and Gulf Air Company.
The statistics showed that the top 3 commodities according to the value of exports are raw aluminum alloys, in addition to fuel for jet aircraft engines, and third is engine diesel. As for the top 3 commodities according to the value of imports, they are: uncalcined oil stoves, iron ores and their incomplete concentrates, and gold bullion.
The report stated that the UAE, Saudi Arabia and China are the top 3 countries according to the value of exports, while the UAE, Saudi Arabia and America are the top 3 countries according to the value of imports.
