Alaskan Bush People star Bear Brown took to his Instagram page on January 4 to share a startling photo. The 33-year-old showed a handgun in a dramatically lit night photo. Although Brown is on good terms with his girlfriend Raiven Adams, during their breakup in early 2020, Adams claimed Brown once bullied her with a gun.
Brown’s photo was posted on his private Instagram page and did not include a caption. In the photo, seen at The Sun, Brown looked straight at the camera, with a handgun stuck randomly between his jacket and a backpack strap. One fan was concerned about gun safety as the gun was not in a holster. “I’d bag that 1911 a little better, I don’t want to accidentally shoot you,” the fan wrote. Others thought he “looked good” and some only posted fiery emojis.
In February 2020, Adams applied for a domestic violence protection order, two months before their son River was born. According to court documents obtained by The Blast, Adams accused Brown of “intimidating” him with a weapon and telling him that “gun laws do not apply to him.” She also accused Brown of “behaving erratically”.
Brown would also tell her that if she didn’t do what he said he would “ask Discovery to bury me. [in] prosecution if I denounce his behavior. “She said her behavior was linked to cocaine use. When approached with concern, Adams claimed Brown threatened to fire her and “withhold” food or money. Brown was also verbally abusive, Adams Raiven also applied for a restraining order, but abandoned it three days after River was born.
In July, Brown denied Adams’ claims. “Everything Raiven has said to the tabloids and insinuated about me is an abusive lie and I won’t stand idly by and say nothing,” Brown wrote at the time in an impassioned Instagram post. “Soon I’ll be doing a post on the truth about what happened between us! Since Raiven did not stop [sic] lying about me people deserve to know the truth! “
Today Brown and Adams are back together. In September, Adams brought River to Washington to meet his father in person for the first time. When she arrived, Brown revealed the two were getting back together because they still had feelings for each other. It seems Adams and River are still with Brown, as he shared a photo of him with River as recently as Sunday.
“After meeting River in person and seeing Raiven again, we found out that we both have feelings for each other, so we decided that instead of being co-parents, we were just going to be parents, ”Brown wrote in September. “Raiven and I decided to try our relationship once again! I asked Raiven if she would be my girlfriend and she said yes! ”
