So far this year, 23 students have committed suicide in coaching centers in Kota due to mental stress.
It is alleged that most of the children commit suicide due to frustration and anxiety due to low marks in the weekly exams at the coaching centers. Following this, the authorities had given strict instructions to the coaching centers not to conduct Sunday tests. But, despite all that, the weekly exams are going on without any problems.
Two students who were preparing for the NEET exam committed suicide on Sunday. A student from Latur, Maharashtra, committed suicide by jumping from the sixth floor of a training institute. Another student from Bihar hanged himself in his hostel room. So far in August, seven students have committed suicide in Kota.

Deputy Superintendent of Police Dharamveer Singh said that he jumped from the sixth floor balcony after appearing for Sunday’s weekly examination at the coaching institute on Road Number One.
The police said that Aavishkar was under a lot of pressure as his marks were low in the test held at the coaching centre. The boy, who was good at learning, was very disappointed when he did not get the expected marks in the exams at the coaching center.
A student named Adarsh from Bihar was found dead in the hostel around 8 pm on Sunday. When he came to call for food, he saw that he had hanged himself. Police are investigating the death. It is believed that the reason behind Adarsh’s death is the disappointment of low marks in the Sunday test.
